Wednesday 5th March – Skin problems!

Hello lovely readers.

Firstly, a big apology for the gap in posts. I’ve had a really crazy week and the weekend went by in a flash, so I feel as though I haven’t had time to breathe.

On top of being busy I’ve had skin and hair problems, so have felt pretty cranky about everything. I’ve always prided myself on making an effort with my appearance, especially being overweight. I suppose I felt like I had to make up for it somehow. Does that make sense?

So I’ve always spent a LOT of money on make up and skin products. Not that I don’t enjoy it! Anyway, my skin often flares up around my jawline and I’m then left with horrible red scars. I have a couple of absolute ‘beauties’ at the moment, which are unfortunately showing no sign of pissing off, so queue me trying everything and anything to help.

One thing that has been helping is Glamglow. They have a few different versions of their ‘mud’, but I bought the clearing treatment one:

It’s not cheap, but if you’re a savvy ‘Googler’, I’m sure you can find an offer on it. Plus you only need to treat the spot(s) rather than your whole face, unless of course you want to do a full face mud mask. It smells beautiful and I have definitely noticed some improvement in my unwelcome face guests. It’s not a miracle cure, but it has certainly helped rid my face quicker than other products I have used.

I will be honest and admit I’m pretty lazy when it comes to skincare. I have been using make up removal wipes for years….don’t all shout at once! I know they’re not good for your skin, but they’re quick. Anyway! I will be 31(!!) in less than 2 weeks and I know it’s time to start treating my skin properly. So I am FINALLY cleansing properly! A friend gave me a sample of Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser to try as I was moaning so much about my skin. I wasn’t keen at first, as it just seemed like effort, but I will be completely honest and say it has certainly made my face feel nicer. The skin feels softer and actually clean after using it. I sometimes feel very greasy after a day at work, but this has helped. So much so that I bought a full size bottle!

You also get a free travel size version with it. Very helpful!

I promise this post isn’t about selling products to you. I just want to share with you anything that has even slightly helped me. I would really appreciate you sharing any particular products that help you. I can then compile a list to share with everyone.
I know acne is a big problem for ladies with PCOS, and definitely one of my main symptoms, so you might just share the one thing that can help.
