OK so I don’t mean in a frisky way!
I think being back at work has really taken it out of me, which I know sounds pathetic, but I had a hectic day and then really struggled to find the energy to do my circuit this evening. I did do it, but it just felt like a pretty crappy performance, and it’s not good enough.
Reading that back it just sounds really ‘moany’ so I need to get my mojo back ASAP! I just don’t like not doing well, at anything. So I might just need to have a look at what I’m eating and when to see if that helps. But I will get this right, and soon!
Food today: egg white omelette for breakfast, apple, chicken salad for lunch, a spoonful of peanut butter before training (because it just tastes good!), pork loin steak with sweet potato, corn and mixed vegetables for dinner, greek yoghurt with banana and grapes
I’ve realised this week that there is a lot of support out there for me, and everyone else who is going through any kind of new eating and/or training programme, which is so welcomed and invaluable to doing well.
Reciprocal support is the way forward!
