I was awake at 5.30am this morning, and spent most of the day feeling wired. Then the tiredness hit, so I drank some coffee and went on another slightly wired/slightly tired phase. I think it would definitely be better if I could train in the mornings, but until I win the lottery that’s not going to happen, so will just have to push through!
Food today: egg white omelette + greek yoghurt and strawberries for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch, apple, banana, steak and vegetables for dinner (ate out).
I’ve been getting some really nice compliments from people at work, and friends who I haven’t seen for a few weeks, about the change they’ve noticed in me since I started this new training and clean eating plan. It’s not just a physical difference either. Apparently I seem more energetic (apart from right now!) and have a bit of a ‘sparkle’. Always nice to know.
I’m on week 8, so looks like I’m on schedule!
