I am really feeling it today. The tops of my legs and my back are aching! What has Chris done to me??
I really hope this is true!
Food today: egg white omelette for breakfast plus some greek yoghurt, apple, chicken and feta salad for lunch, banana, some peanut butter, small pork steak with broccoli, corn and sweet potato for dinner, blueberries, grapes and strawberries with greek yoghurt
Chris has asked me to increase my intake of good fat each day, so has advised me to have some greek yoghurt with seeds along with my omelette for breakfast. He’s also asked me to have an extra fish oil tablet with breakfast.
Some good news! I managed to do the full 5 sets of my home circuit exercise tonight! Pretty happy with myself for that! I probably didn’t push myself as hard as hard as I could have, but I did the whole thing and I have room for improvement. I’m going to aim to do the circuit 3 times a week, then have my training session with Chris once a week, and my pilates class (which starts again next months), once a week too. That gives me 2 days to rest. I can’t believe I’m actually setting myself this goal. A few weeks ago I would have laughed at the idea of setting foot inside a gym. Now I look forward to going and seeing what I’m going to be doing with Chris. I actually want to go as I really want to see progress and improvement. I’m pretty impatient, and stubborn, but I know it’s going to take time. I am also starting to believe that I can do this. I’m feeling pretty determined at the moment. I just hope it lasts!
