So today didn’t start out well, but I have some lovely friends, and a brilliant trainer, who have given me some pretty decent pep talks! They were definitely needed and although I didn’t let the majority of the positivity in, a tiny bit punctured the murky surface. I’m very grateful to them for their ongoing support. I really couldn’t do this without them. If you’re reading this, thank you! x
I even did some training this evening when I got in from work. I did 16 minutes of HIIT (high intensity interval training) on the exercise bike (1 1/2 minutes at a regular pace and 30 seconds as fast as possible, 8 reps of each), plus some dumbbell work, boxing and some pilates. It was sweaty and a bit tough, but I have to admit I did feel better after I’d finished.
Food today: egg white omelette for breakfast, apple, chicken and feta salad for lunch, banana, gluten free sausages with mixed vegetables and sweet potato for dinner
So let’s hope I’m back on the positive path now!
