Wednesday 24th July – Part 2

OK, thought I better write an update after my earlier rant!

So tonight’s session with Chris wasn’t what I was expecting. Tonight he gave me a ‘goal sheet’ to fill in. Much harder than I thought it would be! In fact I almost think exercise would have been easier. It’s one thing to think negative thoughts about yourself, it’s another to verbalise them to someone else. But because he’s such a professional and so good at his job, it’s a much less scarier process with Chris. He talked me through the whole process in such detail that I could open up more about my fears but also what I’d like to achieve through this process. 


I’ve set some short term and medium term goals. The first milestone is 18th September – 8 weeks away! It’s do-able, I just have to keep reminding myself of that. 

The big goal is set for January – 6 months away. I actually like having goals as it’s something to aim for, which I need. 

I’m definitely realising that I can’t do this on my own and that’s why I know I’m really lucky to have Chris on my team. That positivity of his is slowly starting to rub off on me. I just need to let that overpower the negativity!
